What stylists most often want to know before registering.
Does it cost me anything?
The studio profile is free, there is no base fee and no minimum term. A commission of 5% is charged only when a booking is actually made through Glimpii.
I have only just finished training – is it worth it yet?
Especially then. As a new stylist you are placed in the Entry tier and get the customers who match your price and experience from day one, instead of waiting months for the first one.
Do I still need to do Instagram?
No. You can keep posting, but your visibility no longer depends on it. Customers find you through the map and through search, even when you publish nothing.
How do I get paid?
Customers pay for their appointment in advance at the time of booking. Glimpii retains 5% commission and the rest is paid out to the account you have on file.
What do the three tiers mean?
Studios are sorted by experience into Entry, Experienced and Premium. That way the customer who is deliberately looking for your level and price finds you – and you get fewer enquiries that do not fit.
What happens with a cancellation?
Up to 24 hours before the appointment a cancellation is free for the customer. After that the cancellation policy on file applies, which is there to protect you as the stylist.
